Angelena Bonet is releasing her new single “On My Way” after her blockbuster documentary film “Change The World” won more than 250 awards at film festivals around the world.

On My Way was the second song I wrote during my mourning period. With the world reopening and fear on our planet right now – in my heart, I feel like this is the perfect time to release my song into the ether!

SYDNEY, NSW, AUSTRALIA, Nov 25, 2021 / – Angelena Bonet of Crystal Heart Records has released her song “On My Way” and is now available on iTunes, Amazon and all major online music stores. The song is taken from her inspirational documentary, “Change The World”, which she produced in its entirety and shares the story behind her music. “On My Way” features deep lyrics and an uplifting groove, through which it delivers a positive message.

Angelena has won over 250 awards from film and music festivals around the world for her films and music and received the “Humanitarian Award” at the Jane Austen Film Festival (UK), the “Human Spirit Award” at DOCS Without Borders Film Festival (Bahamas), the “Salute Award” at the Bare Bones International Film Festival (United States) and numerous “Best Inspirational Film” and “Best Social Justice” awards. Its soundtrack has also won numerous “Best Original Music”, “Best Original Song”, “Best Soundtrack” and “Best Music Video” awards.

“On My Way” features words from her heart and a powerful message. She has a remarkable story of tragedy, resilience and triumph over great adversity and inspires and touches hearts around the world. Her soul mate and three-day fiancé, Erick Deeby, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in August 2007. He had written and recorded instrumental pieces for her between 2005 and 2007. Bonet then wrote the lyrics and melody for her music. after his devastating death. and during his time of deepest grief. While living in the bohemian red light district of Kings Cross in Sydney, they developed the sound of their music for a few years. Erick had also composed and produced music for various bands and soundtracks for Marvel Comics’ “Man Thing” and “Feed” directed by acclaimed Hollywood director Brett Leonard (Stephen King & Denzil Washington’s “Lawnmower Man” “Virtuosity” ). Angelena promised her while she was in a coma that one day she would somehow finish their special project and she kept her word.

Angelena has been a jury member for the past four years of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (AACTA) and is a judge for the 2021 40th Anniversary of the Australian Directors Guild (ADG) Awards on December 3.
