Barbara Eden, George Chakiris, Margaret O’Brien and Debbie Wileman join DANCE TO THE MOVIES at La Mirada

The Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts has announced that additional talent has signed up for its upcoming DANCE TO THE MOVIES special event, with special appearances added by the Hollywood icon. Barbara Eden (“I Dream Of Jeannie”), Oscar winners George Chakiris (West Side Story) & Margaret O’Brien (Meet Me in St. Louis), and artist Debbie Wileman (who will pay a breathtaking tribute to Judy Garland).

Also featured are the pros of “Dancing with the Stars” Anna Trebounskaya and Dmitry Chaplin, finalists of “American Idol”, “The Voice” and “So You Think You Can Dance” and aerials of “America’s Got Talent”. It will be a legendary evening not to be missed! DANCE TO THE MOVIES will perform Friday, July 8 at 8 p.m. at La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd. at La Mirade.

Top TV and stage choreographers bring yesterday’s classic movie dances to life with a new twist! DANCE TO THE MOVIES recreates some of the most iconic characters and memorable musical moments from movies like Grease, Chicago and Moulin Rouge. Featuring stunning new dances to scores from films such as Singin’ in the Rain, Titanic, The Matrix and Willy Wonka, it’s the perfect family night of movie magic – LIVE on stage.

The ticket office is open Monday to Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and closed on Sundays without representation. On performance days, the ticket office will remain open until 30 min. after curtain. The box office will be closed from July 2 to 4.

LA MIRADA THEATER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS is located at 14900 La Mirada Boulevard in La Mirada, near the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue where highways 91 and 5 meet. Parking is free.
