Indie stars The Kooks headline Norwich Festival
Music fans will be spoiled for choice when an action-packed festival takes place this month.
With incredible acts appearing on three stages, 14,000 music fans will descend on Earlham Park, Norwich for a day of incredible live music.
The inaugural Neck of the Woods festival will feature fantastic artists from around the world, including indie stars The Kooks, who will headline the main stage.
Over the years, The Kooks have proven to be mainstays of the British indie pop world.
Celebrating the 15th anniversary of their iconic debut studio album Inside In/Inside Out, the band will remind Neck of the Woods audiences exactly why their songs are still the soundtrack to an entire generation of young people.
Then, assessing a delightful mid-afternoon slot, The Snuts will also tear up the main stage with a set of their arch-rocking alt-rock.
Becoming the first Scottish group to hit No. 1 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart with their seismic debut last year, the West Lothian quartet will provide a tantalizing opportunity to hear some new music.
Other special guests on the main stage included Sydney rock stalwarts DMA’s, up-and-coming Sony-signed star Cat Burns, an energetic performance filled with shredded love songs from the South London Sea Girls, memorable pop melodies and wistful lyricism galore from lottery winners.
On the second stage, attendees will have the opportunity to catch Irish indie rock frontmen The Academic as they bring the songs from 2021’s acclaimed Community Spirit EP to the festival.
Additionally, Brighton band Yonaka will headline with their killer brand of alternative rock.
As well as the music, there will also be street food stalls and bars on site catering to all daytime needs until dusk on Sunday 29th May.
Tickets are priced at £45 (+ booking fee) and on sale now at www.neckofthewoods.co.uk.
