Jam Room Music Festival returns to Colombia | Colombia

For the first time since 2019, the Jam Room Music Festival returns to Columbia’s main street.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Titus Andronicus headline the event, scheduled for October 1 with a stage on Main Street and another on Hampton Street in front of the Columbia Museum of Art.

“It’s great to have the Jam Room Fest back and to bring live indie music to the heart of South Carolina,” said festival executive director Jay Matheson, who also owns the Jam. Room Recording Studio. “After two years on hiatus due to the pandemic, we couldn’t wait to bring the festival back, and we couldn’t be more excited about this year’s lineup. It’s hard to believe we’ve been running the festival for almost a decade, and we’re still looking forward to growing it for years to come.

In addition to headliners, this year’s festival lineup includes Titan to Tachyons, Shiner, Mourning [A] BLKstar, Bailey Road Band, The Explorer’s Club and Columbia’s Dear Blanca.

Now in its 9th year, the Jam Room Music Festival has already brought artists such as Superchunk, Blonde Redhead, Justin Townes Earle, Son Volt, Waxahatchee and Guided by Voices to Main Street.
