Josh Klinghoffer Pays Tribute to Betty White with Cover of “Golden Girls” Theme Song
Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer paid tribute to Betty White with a cover of the Daddy’s Girls theme song.
Betty White died on New Years Eve, just weeks before her 100th birthday. Now Klinghoffer honors the TV star. He shared a guitar cover of the theme song of Daddy’s Girls, the show that made White legendary.
“There have been a lot of losses lately, a lot of endings,” Klinghoffer wrote on Instagram. “It happens all the time everywhere, but the last few weeks have seen the loss of a few important people in my life. I rarely feel like I have any wisdom to share, but the show’s creator son who I included the theme song to said so, and I think it’s just awesome. He said (something like), “We’re all experts at being exactly what we were the day before. “

“As it’s kind of a start, tomorrow maybe try to do something different,” Klinghoffer continues. “Make that call. Start this book. Go breathe outside. End this fight. To feel. Try to fix some of the broken things you see around you, inside and out. Live life knowing that you don’t have forever because all lives tend to end.
