The Levitt AMP Utica Music Series star lineup has been announced, and as always, it’s a stellar roster. You couldn’t ask for more.
But you’ll still get more. In addition to the headliners, every Monday will bring a different, talented and exciting opening act to Kopernik Park in Utica, something that often gets overlooked. So let’s look.

Opening the series for “The New Respects” on June 20 is “Ladies of Soul and their Gentlemen,” with some of the best and most talented singers and musicians from central New York bringing the best of soul, music and music. pop, R&B, Motown and more.
Kicking off country artist Roberta Lea’s show on June 27 will be one of the region’s most prolific and popular singer-songwriters, with numerous CDs in her catalog, “J. Schnitt.

Area favorites “Soundbarrier,” a band that has built a solid following through a wide variety of song choices that span five decades and multiple genres, will lead up to “Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble” on July 25.
Alternative garage rock band “The Lower Tolpa” will kick off “Bassel & the Supernaturals” on August 1 with their mix of grunge, blues, post-rock and psychedelia.
The August 8 show opener for “The Big Takeover” will be Utica’s “Uncle Charlie and the Meatballs,” which in just a few years has gone from a casual band to one of the most popular blues and the most hardworking. – rock concerts in the center of New York.
August 15 will feature an opening double act, Nazzy and Leeky XIV. On August 22, Cait Devin will open for Ariel Posen. Cait, a seasoned performer at the ripe old age of 20, has made a name for herself with a mix of classic rock and Indie Pop along with original songs and covers.
Opening the closing show on August 29 will be the “ZZ Trio”, featuring the powerful voice of charismatic artist Zainep “Zz” Abdelaal.
The concerts will be held at Kopernik Park in downtown Utica on Monday nights from 6-9 p.m. June 20-August 29.
